Presence detection firmware permits to configure the tag with various parameters including data packets (iBeacon, Eddystone-UID, Eddystone-URL, Eddystone-TLM, ALT-Beacon, Secure Beacon or your proprietary frame), Advertising frequency, Tranmission power or Transport state wake-up options.
In addition to active state, it is possible to access an alarm state on a trigger event (push-button or accelerometer). LED behaviour can be configured as well as data packet and Tx interval.
PRESENCE DETECTION
Detect movement, free-fall or taps
3-Axis accelerometer integration permits to detect Single tap, Double tap, Movement, Flip-flop or Free-fall event. It is a user-selectable full scales (2g, 4g, 8g, 16g), power mode, threshold and duration parameters.
An approximation of the ambiant temperature is also available in Eddystone-TLM, Secure Beacon and proprietary frame.

Asset tracking tags powered with presence detection firmware significantly extend the battery life of your beacon, offering up to 2,3x the longevity compared to other solutions with same configuration.
It is possible to include battery voltage in your frame content, permitting to estimate the remaining battery life.
